Uri : The Surgical Strike | It is an upcoming Indian Bollywood Hindi Movie. Infact there is no any requirement to spoil the story of it but yes the intensity of Indian people to know about those 11 days (29th Sep'16 to 9th Oct'16) that what happened during the surgical strike attack on Pakistan in retaliation of Uri attack. Initially the Government of India is not ready to reveal this so that no any other country could create trouble or about the strategy which could bounce back on us. Even Pakistan denied that Indian army crossed the LOC but had only skirmished with Pakistani troops at the border which cause the death of two Pakistani soldiers and the wounding of nine. Pakistan rejected India's reports of any other casualties and Pakistan sources reported that at least 8 Indian soldiers were killed in the exchange and one was captured. But in the pressure of against political party finally the government revealed this and after that producer Ronnie Screwvala announced to make movie based on it in September 2017 exactly after the 1 year of an attack.
This movie was written and directed by debutant Aditya Dhar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala under his own banner RSVP Movies. It's based on the Surgical Strike performed by Indian Army way back in 2016 against suspected militants Pakistan-administered Kashmir in retaliation of Uri Attack. During Uri Attack our 19 army personnel were brutally killed and 100 of soldiers were injured by four heavily armed Pakistani millitants while our soldiers resting at there camps on 18th Sep'16 around 5:30 AM. During three minutes of time span they have lobbed 17 grenades. A gun battle ensued lasted for 6 hours and finally they were killed by our army soldiers. For this attack, retaliation planned and Indian army has succeffully completed the surgical strike.
What is Surgical Strike | A surgical strike is a military attack which is intended to damage only a legitimate military target, with no or minimal collateral damage to surrounding structures, vehicles, buildings or the general public infrastructures and utilities.

The Teaser of movie released exactly after the 2 years of Uri Attack and Surgical Strike begins on 27 Sept'18 and Trailer was launched on 5th Dec'18.
At the start of the movie it take us to the day when Uri Attack happened at Base Camp of Uri territory of Kashmir on 18th September 2016, where army van and camp attacked by four heavily armed Pakistani militants. In the very next scene at India Gate gratitude towards martyred soldier of Uri given by Indian Army and family members. With attitude of anger Major Vihan Shergill asked for the permission to take revenge of Uri Attack by Ajit Kumar Dovral and finally he take permission from Indian Government and asked Major to take leadership and do the Surgical Strike. Special Task Force Agent investigating with the suspects for the mastermind for Uri Attack and simultaneously sequence of training and boost up for the soldiers by Major. Indian Air Force Pilot Sirat is very sad and want to be a part of it and Major give her a very vital role of being the Pilot to drop the troop in battlefield safely without getting caught in radar. Special Task Force Agent being shown helping the soldiers continusly while the task being performed and all the fight and blast sequence potrayed in the trailer. The best part of the Trailer which gives you goosebumps and make you feel patriotic "This is new India, It'll take entry at your home and will also kill" which is a direct threaten to the enemy countries.

Uri Movie Story
As we have multiple reports from India and Pakistan and other specialist, now the story is fully depend upon the debutant Writer / Director Aditya Dhar. But as per Teaser and Trailer it cleared the story that the attack at Uri Base Camp and our 19 unarmed soldiers was brutally killed was initially shown in the movie and also gratitude to our martyred soldiers at India Gate with there families and closed ones. Finally the Indian National Security Advisor Mr. Ajit Kumar Doval (Performed by Paresh Rawal) decide to do Surgical strike after the discussion had with Major Vihan Shergill (Mr. Vicky Kaushal) and take approval from Indian Ministry.
Under the leadership of Major Vihan Shergill the team get trained, during this Special Task Force Agent (Yami Gautam) investigate with suspected peoples. Sirat (Indian Air Force Pilot, performed by Kirti Kulhari) was one of them whose close one was martyred in the attack also want to be the part of the Surgical Strike and want to take revenge, but in this campaign girls were not allowed. Major Vihan saw the fire in her eyes and finally include her in the group as a Pilot who is going to drop the troop safely at battlefield. Captain Karan Kashyap (Performed by Mohit Raina) played the important role in the group as backup planner.
How successfully they executes the plan, does any Indian soldier get martyred or caught by Pakistan has been revealed in the movie, how strong our National Intelligence and Indian Army is potrayed in the movie which also make you feel patriotic in it. The movie was well shooted in the dark and beautiful assasination gaming mode has been used which will be treat to watch in theatres. Recent sensation of Bollywood charming Vicky Kaushal has put all his effort to transform himself as a Major physically and mentally, long 4-5 months of hard work on himself was clearly visible in the teaser and trailer. Commanding role of Paresh Rawal was awaited too long, does he make justice with the character of Ajit Kumar Doval who is recently known as the most devastating character of Indian Army and Minisitry Intelligence for the force.
For me the movie concept is exceptional and will do the best in Box Office, this movie will take Vicky Kaushal career way higher and even Mohit Raina strong character will help him to get more assignments in Bollywood. As movie is releasing near the day of Indian Republic Day and will also get the off days of Makar Sankranti which help movie to recover it's budget as well as get into the profit till Republic Day. The only competition for the movie is with moive "Cheat India" starrer Emraan Hashmi, we hope both movie does well in box office and get love equally.
