How to create and set up an account of Coinbase.

Step 1:

Go to https://www.coinbase,com/ and click “Sign Up” at the top right corner of the page.

Please carefully go through the terms of User Agreement and Privacy Policy.

• Fill in your personal details : First Name, Last Name, E-mail ID & Password.
• Check on "I'm not a robot"
• Check the “I agree to the User Agreement and Privacy Policy”
• Click “Create Account”

You will be redirect to a confirmation page on submission.

Step 2:

A verification link is sent via email.

Navigate to the E-mail specified in the initial step of Sign Up and click “Verify Email Address”.

Note: Check your spam / junk folder, if you have not received any verification emails from Coinbase.

Step 3:

How to set up Coinbase account

By verifying Contact Number, National ID Documents, Payment Medium.

Step 4:

Enter local phone number.

This is required for:

Logins (2-Step Verification)

Step 5:

Coinbase will redirect you to this page, where three modes of identity verification are allowed:

Passport
Driver’s License
Photo ID

Select the preferred method of uploading identification documents.

Recommended : To choose the mobile camera upload method.

Step 6:

How to select payment method in Coinbase

Connect your Bank Account, Debit / Credit card to buy and sell digital / crypto currency.

Note : Personal Identification is required for any payment method can be selected.

You may now enter the details of your preferred payment method.

Step 7:

Two charges will be made to the bank account under “Pending Transactions”.

You are required to determine the last two digits of these charges.

These charges can be found from online bank statements (Internet Banking).

Enter the last 2 digits of each charge, and click “Verify Charge Numbers”.

And you are all done !!!
