Captain Marvel is a 2019 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Carol Danvers. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is the twenty-first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is written and directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, with Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Jac Schaeffer also contributing to the screenplay. Brie Larson stars as Danvers, alongside Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Annette Bening, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law. Set in 1995, the story follows Danvers as she becomes Captain Marvel after the Earth is caught in the center of a galactic conflict between two alien worlds.
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige said Larson was cast because of her ability to balance the character's vast powers with her humanity. Due to concern that Larson (who was 26 when she was cast) was too young to portray an accomplished airman, screenwriter Nicole Perlman consulted with the Air Force who said it was possible for someone "to go very far" between the ages of 28 and 34. Larson trained for nine months for the role, learning judo, boxing, and wrestling. She also visited Nellis Air Force Base and met with active duty airmen, including Brigadier General Jeannie Leavitt and Thunderbirds pilot Major Stephen Del Bagno in preparation for the role. Mckenna Grace portrays a young Carol Danvers.
Development of the film began as early as May 2013, and was officially announced in October 2014, making it Marvel Studios' first female-led superhero film. Nicole Perlman and Meg LeFauve were hired as a writing team the following April after submitting separate takes on the character. The story borrows elements from Roy Thomas's 1971 "Kree–Skrull War" comic book storyline. Larson was announced as Danvers at the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con, with Boden and Fleck brought on board to direct in April 2017. Robertson-Dworet soon took over scripting duties, with the remainder of the cast added by the start of filming. Location shooting began in January 2018, with principal photography beginning that March in California before concluding in July 2018 in Louisiana. Jackson and Gregg—who, among others, reprise their roles from previous MCU films—were digitally de-aged in post-production to reflect the film's 1990s setting.
Captain Marvel premiered in London on February 27, 2019 and is set to be released in the United States on March 8, 2019, in IMAX and 3D.

At the beginning of Trailer Captain Marvel is on a train looking for Skrull which is in the face of an old woman, which clearly explain that they can took over anyone face. And one fighting sequence with the background score in a voice of Nick Fury "You mean Skrull is a villain" and you're "Captain Marvel" Kree like ''fighter", then she replied "Superhero type fighter".
In the very next scene she was in the world of Kree and there co-pilots of a fighter plane. Where a woman explains "We took you out from death, when we found you "You're unconscious and even no past memories" we gave you life, we accepted you and gave you life. We gave you the new birth.
Alongside she still had some past memories which she dream of with shades.She questioned The Kree member to know who she is and in return he tells her that you have a superpower but this fight is not yours. In Earth tries to explore her past and during this Skrull invade earth, how she fight with them how she saves the world is the story all about.
Trailers ends with an dialogue "You started the war, but I will end it"
Captain Marvel Story Plotting
An ex-U.S. Air Force fighter pilot and member of an elite Kree military unit called Starforce whose DNA was fused with that of a Kree during an accident, imbuing her with superhuman strength, energy projection, and flight. Larson described Danvers as a "believer in truth and justice" and a "bridge between Earth and space," who must balance her "unemotional" Kree side that is an "amazing fighter" with her "flawed" human half that is "the thing that she ends up leading by." Larson also called Danvers aggressive, quick tempered, and invasive, attributes that help her in a fight but prove to be character flaws.
The future director of S.H.I.E.L.D., who at this time is a low level bureaucrat. Fury appears without his signature eye patch as the film is set before he loses his eye. Feige explained that Danvers is the first superhero that Fury has come across, which sets him on a path to where the character is in the modern MCU films. Jackson described Fury at this point in time as a desk jockey, who has not yet become cynical towards bureaucracy and who learns in the film that there are superpowered beings who could help S.H.I.E.L.D.'s cause. Jackson added that trusting Danvers plays a key role in his development as they become "compatriots" over the course of the film.Jackson was digitally de-aged by 25 years, the first time Marvel has done this for an entire film.
The shape-shifting leader of the Skrull invasion of Earth, who is working undercover within S.H.I.E.L.D. as Fury's boss. Mendelsohn described Talos's human persona as "buttoned up" compared to his "more laid back" Skrull persona. Mendelsohn differentiated between the two by using an American accent inspired by politician Donald Rumsfeld for the human disguise, and his native Australian accent for Talos; the latter was chosen, after a "lengthy discussion", due to what Mendelsohn called an "earthy correctness". The makeup and prosthetics necessary to portray Talos took "a couple of hours" to apply. Executive producer Johnathan Schwartz added that "it's sort of fun to show off both the Skrull's powers and Ben's range as an actor because he's very different in all of those parts."
Captain Marvel Story Spoilers
A movie starts way back in 90's when Nick Fury not even plot the S.H.I.E.L.D and avenging the Superheroes, which proves with a look of Fury without an eye patch. Captain Marvel follows Carol Danvers, a U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, who is in a mission during which her flight get crashed and in that she stuck in the world of Kree. Fulfilled with advanced technology, she turns into one of the galaxy's mightiest heroes and joins Starforce, an elite Kree military team. Kree world is her new home now and living her superhero life and fight with other alien world name Skrull.
During the stay at Kree she's having shadow memories of her past. She questioned with Kree crew that who is she, why she fulfilled with shadow memories and make her feel she is not Kree by birth. By seeing this and for her life sake Kree commander make her out and let her go the Earth from where is belong too. Before returning home with questions about her past and identity when Earth is caught in the center of a galactic conflict between two alien worlds.
After this other world aliens "Skrull" invade Earth and only Captain Marvel recognize them because Skrull can take over anyone face and body to hide there identities. Nick Fury find her and ask for help to save the world and in return he will help her to get back her past life identities.
How Nick and Marvel save the world and does Kree Military come to support the Earth people to defeat Skrull is the story all about. As we all knew in Avenger 3 most of the superheroes vanish with tweak of Thanos with the help of Infinity Stones, so to save the world required one strong character to fight with Thanos and save the half world. As this movie runs in past which means she's the first superhero "Avenger" or say second after Captain America in MCU. As this installment is coming at the right time to add one more Superhero in Avenger : End Game the last movie series of Marvel.
Hope this movie does well like previous Marvel installments and we can see the strong women superhero power in MCU which will be treat to watch.
